It’s because it’s a bad deal, not because I don’t like the people. I do not care personally about the people or what they represent. I only know you’ve spent a year trying to strike a very reasonable deal and they continue to look for reasons to not sign.
That’s not personal, that’s business.
Accusing me of “trivializing” their concerns because I don’t like them personally is outrageous and absurd.
The truth is that any moment you spend on this ridiculous deal where they do not have the manpower to fulfill their unbelievably minor participation (seriously, your anger at me was because I asked sincerely if we needed to set up an excel spreadsheet with tracking numbers for them) takes away from every other thing we are working on.
Then, by being an ass about it (and treating me as though I am one of your assistants instead of your partner), you make me question whether I want to put even a moment worth of work into what I am supposed to be doing today on something actually important that has a chance of closing.
Thanks for starting the morning off right, buddy!
