I am trying my best to stick to the diet — I am still avoiding carbs as much as possible. I am eating more tomatoes than normal because of all the greek salads (I love real greek salads).

My biggest problem: each meal, there is wine. Okay, not at breakfast. Other than that, at each meal there is excellent wine.

I can feel myself getting heavier with each passing day. It’s okay though. I should be back home tomorrow or Thursday. I leave again on the weekend to head west, but I will be in meetings where there is no de rigueur wine involved.

For now, when in Rome . . .
