The funny things about weight loss and weight gain is how many different elements affect it.

I understand why people get so frustrated because one little thing can throw off the scale.

Yesterday, A brought over lunch from Dog Almighty.  He loves it because they have great vegetarian stuff.  I ate two delicious grilled beef hotdogs with sauerkraut and spicy mustard and one hot dog bun.  Everything else in my diet was exactly the same.

I “gained” 1.2 pounds magically overnight.

It’s not real weight, but if I were still in weight loss mode, I would be beating myself up this morning.  Instead, I just laughed.

(I probably should have skipped the hotdog bun, though.)
