I am in my late 30s, I grew up on the beach, and I used to use hawaiian tropic spf 4 and (gasp) baby oil for sunbathing. In short, I do not have good skin, though I am relatively unwrinkled. For that, I credit constant moisturizer, and lots of aesthetician visits when I was well-employed.
Last night, I received my care package from sephora with a philosophy gift set.
I used the purity made simple wash, the microderm wash, my olay nightcream, and the hope in a tube eye/lip treatment.
This morning, I looked in the mirror and thought “wow!”
Seriously . . . pores: smaller; skin: tighter. I looked dewy. My lips, constantly dry and chapped looked what I can only describe as, well, luscious. (They were all firm and full and smooth.)
I am very surprised.
As I did my little regimen for the second night and stared at my reflection in the mirror, I began to think that I might be able to pull off wearing almost nothing on my face to run errands . . . like just maybe a little tinted moisturizer. Okay, maybe I am not there yet, but my face feels soft, my pores look smaller, and I look better, more refreshed, and a little younger.
